The purpose of this paper is to examine the principles and progressive approach of internationalization of human resource management by different organizations in Nigeria including socio-cultural influence. The paper concludes that sociocultural diversity of Nigeria influences HRM practices in Nigeria because employment discrimination has not been adequately addressed due to ‘quota’ system syndrome which still exists in most of the public service organizations.
